This peace sign, located next to the Long Beach police station, was there more than 3 months after the war with Iraq in 2003. With unanimous people help, it survived unstable weather, (illegally) parked cars didn’t run it over, and no one successfully destroyed it either. All this right by the Police station. I never saw anyone fixing that sign up, but I know somebody must have, because I saw it little wrinkle several times. It was made out of branches. Interesting, isn’t it?
