This peace sign, located next to the Long Beach police station, was there more than 3 months after the war with Iraq in 2003. With unanimous people help, it survived unstable weather, (illegally) parked cars didn’t run it over, and no one successfully destroyed it either. I never saw anyone fixing that sign up, but I know somebody must have, because I saw it little wrinkle several times. It was made out of branches. Interesting, isn’t it?
